Not yet. Maybe more snow Sat. and again next week. Maybe then cry.......:X

If you cry now, your tears will fall to the street/road where the city/county will not be able to plow it and it will freeze into a sheet of ice.

Sorry, had to vent.

Where you live Grizz? I will send Yak. He's probably just laying around today. :D

Nope been busy today shoveling snow, hauling in firewood, drove to and from Easton and now eating. Then testing my gen wiring later.

Try that...you can point and shoot heat with it!

That can be dangerous. Good way to get shocked or electrocuted.  Better to squirt hot water on the door. Use one of those spray bottles like you water plants with. If you have one. Or just throw on with a cook pot. While in town, go to WalMart and get a can of deicer spray. Spray it around the door when you get home. You should be good to go after that. Just make sure there isn't any heat source near the door like a heater or electrical outlet.  Good luck!!

Let's see...she mentioned that the door was cracked because of the cat being able to get in and out, therefore the door frozen to the ground had been ruled out when I made the suggestion.

It was also assumed that if she has used a hand held hairdryer in the safety of her bath room she probably possesses the skill sets to handle one in the garage.

We could also assess that since the garage isn't heated and a person applying water to to an object that may very well FREEZE again just seems a bit silly.

Good luck with applying water to metal in freezing temperatures!

Her bathroom outlets are probabably GFI protected. Garage outlets are typically not.

The hot water will free the frozen door so she can leave.. The deicer she gets from Walmart is the final fix when she returns.  :D

God really has a sense of humor. Has been this way pretty much every week for one thing or another since my husband passed. Really missing having a Man around the house!

No. I want to move our car back from the road because it is under a tree right now. Mother nature might decide to trim that tree in the next 48 hours. I have to shovel away some snow behind the car so I can move it, move it, move it.

My son in DE just called wondering if we had an extra kerosene heater. We do, but we are dubious of what shape one of  them is in.

God bless,
Pete

No I want to move my truck to Key West and open up a snow removal business.
If you go to Key West send me a few cans of sunshine.
